WildStutter

Spectral & dynamic modulation + FX. Stutter with a scalpel.

$50 one-time payment

Signature controls

  • Bloom: warm saturation that swells with every pulse of the chop
  • Sync / Threshold: free-running or tempo-locked, with a level gate that works in both
  • Band: stutter only the frequency band you point it at
  • Stereo Offset: turns a mono chop into an alternating L/R dance
  • Input Relative: let your input level push Bloom, Rate or Freq up to where the knob is set
  • Make it Dance: give any of five knobs its own always-moving LFO
  • SPICEY SWEETS DRAWER: additional FX, saturation, and easy macro modulation

Plate: Young Woman Sewing, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, 1879

"Young Woman Sewing", painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1879. The model may be Aline Charigot, whom Renoir later married. She bends over her work beside a blue vase of bright flowers, and Renoir let cobalt blue set the tone, with touches of red and yellow placed close beside it to give the scene its fresh, spontaneous feel.

Spectrally focused stuttering, so you can flutter only the top end of your magic spell, or randomly break up the low end of your explosion, with the chop kicking in only when your signal gets loud enough. Add single-click modulation to a number of parameters, and some additional built-in FX just in case you want to smear or manipulate your stuttered element.
