Terms of Service
Effective: October 24, 2026
These terms cover using the Wildflower Sound website and store at wildflowersound.io/plugins, buying plugins, and the optional Subscribe to Own subscription. Wild Design plugins cost $50 each (WildStream, in beta, comes only with the Full Bundle and subscription) and Wild Basics cost $15 each, or $449 for the Full Bundle of all 35 plugins available today (or the local price for your country, shown at checkout). The Subscribe to Own option is one monthly subscription that gives you the whole catalog, including new plugins as we release them, while it is active and earns you one point for every US dollar of the plan's US list price, rounded up, whatever currency you pay in. It costs $9.99/month, or the local price for your country, shown at checkout; points redeem plugins to own forever (50 points for a flagship plugin, 15 for a Wild Basics one), and points never expire. The subscription auto-renews every month at $9.99, or the local price for your country, until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime with one click in your account area. Your purchase is processed by Paddle as the seller of record. And if something goes wrong, or a renewal catches you at a bad moment, just ask us. We would rather be generous and keep you than be strict and right. These Terms also include an agreement to resolve disputes through individual arbitration rather than in court, with a small claims option and a 30-day right to opt out (Section 16). This is the plain-English summary; the numbered sections below control.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Wildflower Sound, an audio company operated by Braden Parkes as an individual, and its successors (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our").
Our business address for notices is Wildflower Sound, 18034 Ventura Blvd PMB 713, Encino, CA 91316, United States. The fastest way to reach us is support@wildflowersound.io, and we aim to reply within 2 business days.
These Terms cover your use of:
- our website and store at wildflowersound.io and wildflowersound.io/plugins (the "Site"),
- your purchases of Wildflower Sound audio plugins (the "plugins"), and
- the optional Subscribe to Own subscription (the "Subscribe to Own subscription").
By using the Site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms, to our End User License Agreement (the "EULA"), and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are all part of your agreement with us. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or buy the plugins.
2. Your account
- Logging in is by email magic link. There are no passwords. When you want to sign in, we email a one-time link to your account email. Keep access to that inbox secure, since anyone who can open your email links can reach your account.
- You are responsible for the activity under your account. Tell us at support@wildflowersound.io if you think someone else has gained access.
- Your account area shows your points balance, redemptions, licenses and machine activations, downloads, invoices (through Paddle), and your subscription controls.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live to buy from us or hold an account. The Site is not directed at children under 16.
3. The plugins and what a purchase gives you
- Each plugin is licensed, not sold, to you under the EULA. Buying a plugin gives you a permanent personal license to that plugin. Buying or redeeming does not transfer ownership of the software itself.
- Plugins are delivered as digital downloads. On macOS we provide VST3, AU and AAX for Pro Tools. On Windows we provide VST3 and AAX for Pro Tools. There is no physical product.
- Use, activations (1 computer per license at a time, or 3 for a license you got before October 3, 2026), offline use, and license rules are set out in the EULA.
4. Prices and buying outright
- Each flagship plugin: $50 (US dollars) outright, or the local price for your country, shown at checkout (WildStream, in beta, comes only with the Full Bundle and subscription).
- Each Wild Basics plugin: $15 (US dollars) outright, or the local price for your country, shown at checkout.
- Full Bundle of all 35 plugins: $449 (US dollars) outright, or the local price for your country, shown at checkout.
- For a Full Bundle bought on or after October 11, 2026, the Full Bundle is the plugins in our catalog on the day you buy it. Plugins we release later are not part of it; the Subscribe to Own subscription includes them. A Full Bundle bought before October 11, 2026 keeps every plugin, including plugins we release later.
- Prices are in US dollars, or the local price for your country, shown at checkout. Your final price, any taxes, and your currency are shown at checkout by Paddle.
- We may change prices over time. A price change does not affect a purchase you have already completed. It also does not change the redemption price locked to your Subscribe to Own subscription (see Section 6).
5. Payments, taxes, and Paddle as merchant of record
Purchases and subscription payments on our website are processed by Paddle as our merchant of record. In plain terms:
- Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction. When you check out, you are buying through Paddle, and Paddle's checkout terms apply to that transaction alongside these Terms.
- Paddle handles payment processing, VAT and sales tax, invoices and receipts, and any payment disputes or chargebacks.
- Charges may appear on your card or bank statement as "PADDLE.NET*" or similar.
- The license to use the plugins still comes from us under the EULA. Paddle handles the money; we provide the software and your rights to use it.
- Invoices for your purchases and subscription payments are available in your account area (provided through Paddle).
- If you buy a code for one of our plugins, or for a bundle of them, from another store that sells our plugins, that store is the seller for that purchase and handles its payment, taxes and refunds under its own terms. The license still comes from us under the EULA.
If a payment fails, is reversed, refunded, or charged back, it can affect your access and your points balance, as described below and in the Refund Policy.
6. The Subscribe to Own subscription
The Subscribe to Own subscription is an optional way to get the plugins over time instead of buying outright.
How it works:
- It is one subscription at $9.99/month (US dollars), or the local price for your country, shown at checkout. That is the only rate, and it is shown at checkout before you pay, and on your account page afterward.
- While your subscription is active, you may use the full catalog of plugins, including new plugins as we release them, under the EULA.
- Each successful payment earns you one point for every US dollar of the plan's US list price, rounded up, whatever currency you pay in. At $9.99 a month that is 10 points.
- You redeem a flagship plugin at 50 points and a Wild Basics plugin at 15 (WildStream, in beta, comes only with the Full Bundle and subscription). A redeemed plugin is yours to keep and use permanently, even after you cancel. At $9.99 a month, or the local price for your country shown at checkout, that is five payments for a flagship plugin, a payment and a half for a Wild Basics one.
- Points never expire. Cancelling or pausing never removes plugins you already own or points you have already earned.
Points details:
- Points are a record of your progress under this subscription. They are not money and not a payment method, and they are not a currency, a credit balance, a voucher, or a gift certificate. Points have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or given to anyone else, cannot be withdrawn or refunded as cash, and cannot be used to pay your subscription fee. The only thing points can ever be exchanged for is a permanent license to one of our own plugins.
- Points are not eligible toward the $449 Full Bundle price. The bundle discount is an incentive for buying outright with money.
- If a payment is refunded or charged back, the points that payment earned are subtracted. If your points go negative, you cannot redeem plugins until they are positive again. This does not remove plugins you already redeemed and own.
- Your redemption pricing is locked to the price in force when you first subscribed. If plugin prices change later, the points needed to redeem stay at the rate you started with.
Access, grace period, and lapses:
- Full-catalog access depends on an active subscription and a current signed catalog pass, which refreshes on each successful payment (see the EULA for offline refresh).
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, or after your cancellation takes effect, full-catalog access continues for a 7-day grace period, then lapses. After that, you keep every plugin you have redeemed to own, and you keep your points, but you can no longer use plugins you have not yet redeemed.
- A free trial has no grace period. If we give you a free trial of the subscription and you cancel before it ends, or the first payment at the end of it does not go through, full-catalog access ends when the trial ends.
- We may also give you a free trial that needs no card and starts no subscription. It gives you a licence key for the full catalog until the day we name when you start it. The key stops working at the end of that time, with no grace period; nothing renews and nothing is charged. Free trials and other free offers are one per person and one per computer, and a trial of either kind is your one free trial. To keep using the plugins afterwards, subscribe or buy a licence.
7. Auto-renewal, and how to cancel (please read)
This is important, so we are stating it plainly:
- The Subscribe to Own subscription automatically renews every month until you cancel it. That is $9.99 per month (US dollars), or the local price for your country, shown at checkout. The price is shown at checkout before you pay, and again on your account page. You will be charged that amount at the start of each monthly billing period, on a recurring basis, with no further action needed from you, until you cancel.
- You agree to these recurring charges when you sign up. We collect your clear consent to the auto-renewing monthly terms, at the rate you are being charged, at signup and before your first payment.
- You can cancel anytime with a simple one-click control in your account area. No phone call, no email required, no hoops.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full-catalog access through the period you have already paid for (then it follows the grace-period rule in Section 6). We do not prorate or refund the current period on cancellation as a matter of course, except as stated in the Refund Policy. If a renewal went through when you had meant to cancel, email us and ask; see Section 8 for how we approach that.
- You may also pause your subscription from your account area. Pausing stops future point accrual and, after the grace period, full-catalog access, but never removes plugins or points you already have.
- We will bill your subscription through Paddle. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and will let you know; unresolved failures lead to the grace period and lapse described above.
Your first monthly payment may be refundable as described in the Refund Policy. Later monthly payments are not refunded, but you can cancel anytime, and your points never expire.
8. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on outright purchases from our website, and the first monthly subscription payment is refundable within 14 days. Later monthly payments are not refunded automatically, though Paddle, as seller of record, may issue one at its own discretion or where the law requires. Refunds for purchases on our website are processed through Paddle. The full details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
How we actually handle this. The rules above are where we start, not where we stop. If a renewal caught you at a bad moment, if you meant to cancel and did not get to it, or if something simply went wrong, email support@wildflowersound.io and ask. We would rather be generous and keep you than be right about a policy. We are a small company, we would like you to stay, and we would rather sort something out than have you leave unhappy.
9. Downloads and delivery
After a successful purchase or subscription payment, your plugins and license files become available in your account area to download. It is your responsibility to download and keep your installers and license files. We aim to keep downloads available to account holders, but we do not guarantee that every past version will remain downloadable forever.
9A. WildStream live streaming (beta)
WildStream lets you send the sound of your session, live, to a private link that the people you choose can open in a web browser. Streaming is an online service that we run on our own servers, and it is in beta.
- Who can stream. Streaming is included with any license that covers WildStream, for as long as that license covers it. A free trial can stream with fewer listeners. The current listener numbers and audio qualities are shown on our website and in the plugin, and we may change them.
- It is a service, not part of what you own. Your license to the WildStream plugin follows the EULA like any other plugin. The streaming service is separate: we provide it while we offer it, and we may change it, limit it, pause it or end it. If we ever end it, we will say so on our website at least 30 days before it ends. Ending the service never takes away a plugin you own.
- No guarantee it is always available. Streams can drop or be unavailable, for example during maintenance or a network problem. Your session's own sound is never affected: the plugin passes your audio through untouched whether or not it is streaming.
- Your link, your listeners. Anyone who has a live link can listen while your stream is live, so share it only with people you trust. Pressing New link in the plugin gives you a new link and the old one stops working (an older saved copy of your project still holds its old link).
- What you may stream. Only material you have the right to share. Streaming is for listening sessions with your own clients and collaborators, not public broadcasting. Do not use it to break the law or anyone's rights.
- Fair use of the service. We may end a stream, or stop a license from streaming, if it is used in a way that breaks these rules, puts the service at risk, or is clearly not a normal listening session (for example a public radio-style broadcast). If that happens to you by mistake, email support@wildflowersound.io and we will look at it.
- Confidentiality. We protect streams with encryption on the way to and from our servers, we do not record them, and nobody at Wildflower Sound listens to them. While a stream passes through our servers it is handled in memory, so we cannot promise more than reasonable care. Do not stream anything that must never leave your own computer.
10. Acceptable use of the Site
Please use the Site fairly. Do not try to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, and do not use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. We may suspend or limit access that threatens the Site, other users, or us.
11. The Wildflower community (optional)
We may link to a Discord community from the Site. Joining is entirely optional and is not required to buy or use the plugins. Discord is a separate service with its own terms and privacy practices, which apply to your use of it. Be kind and follow any community guidelines we post.
12. Intellectual property
The Site, the plugins, the "Wildflower Sound" name, the "Wild" plugin names, and all related content, artwork, and trademarks belong to the Company and are protected by law. These Terms and the EULA give you specific, limited rights to use the plugins and the Site. They do not transfer ownership of anything to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
13. Giving back
A share of our profits (our 8% pledge) goes to pollinator and wildflower habitat work through the Xerces Society. This is part of who we are, not part of your contract, and it does not change the terms above.
14. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and the plugins are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. The streaming service in Section 9A is provided "as is" and "as available", and is a beta. Our warranty disclaimers and the limits on our liability are set out in the EULA and apply to these Terms as well. In short, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us for the relevant plugin or subscription period. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our business grows. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where reasonable, let you know. Changes do not apply retroactively to a completed purchase, and your locked Subscribe to Own redemption pricing is protected as described in Section 6. If you keep using the Site or your subscription after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law, and how disputes are resolved
Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights. It includes an agreement to resolve disputes through individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions, and it gives you a 30-day right to opt out.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Because Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase, payment and transaction disputes may also be subject to Paddle's terms.
Step one: talk to us. Before either of us starts arbitration or a court case, we agree to try to resolve the dispute informally first. Write to us at support@wildflowersound.io with your name, your account email, what happened, and what you would like us to do. If we have a claim against you, we will write to your account email with the same information. We then both have 30 days from the day the notice is received to try in good faith to work it out. We expect almost everything to end here, because that is how we want to treat you anyway. If the dispute is still unresolved after those 30 days, either of us may proceed as set out below.
Small claims court is always available. Instead of arbitration, either you or we may bring an individual claim in small claims court, if the claim qualifies there.
Arbitration. Except for small claims cases and any dispute the law does not allow to be arbitrated, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the EULA, the Site, the plugins, or your purchase will be resolved by binding arbitration between you and us on an individual basis, instead of in court. The arbitration will be administered by JAMS under its rules in force when the arbitration starts, including its Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards where they apply, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement to arbitrate. The arbitration will take place in the county where you live, or another place we both agree to, and either of us may ask for it to be conducted by videoconference, by phone, or on written submissions instead of in person. Under the JAMS consumer standards, the only arbitration fee you have to pay is a filing fee comparable to a court filing fee; we pay all other JAMS fees and the arbitrator's fees. The arbitrator applies the same law a court would, can award you individually everything a court could, and must honor the rights this agreement preserves. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
No class actions. To the extent the law allows, disputes between you and us are resolved individually. Neither you nor we may bring or take part in a class action, class arbitration, or any representative or consolidated proceeding against the other, and the arbitrator may not combine your dispute with anyone else's. If a court decides this paragraph cannot be enforced for a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, proceeds in court under the venue paragraph below, and the rest of this section still applies to everything else.
Your right to opt out. You can reject this arbitration agreement and the class-action waiver, and keep every other part of these Terms unchanged, by emailing support@wildflowersound.io within 30 days of the date you first accept these Terms, or within 30 days of the effective date of the first version of these Terms that contains this section, whichever is later. Include your name, your account email, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out changes only how disputes are resolved. It does not affect your plugins, your points, your prices, or anything else, and we will never treat you differently for opting out.
If arbitration does not apply. If you opt out, if a claim belongs in court under this section, or if the law where you live does not allow this arbitration agreement to bind you, the dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Your local consumer rights stay. If the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, under your local law, or before a local dispute resolution body, this section does not take that right away. In particular, if you live somewhere that does not allow a pre-dispute arbitration agreement or a class-action waiver to bind consumers, which includes much of the European Union and the United Kingdom, those parts of this section do not apply to you, and the rest of these Terms still do.
17. If our business changes hands
Wildflower Sound may change its legal form as it grows, for example by incorporating, and the business could one day be sold, merged, or reorganized. If that happens, we may transfer these Terms, along with our rights and obligations under them, to the entity that takes over the business. Your account, the plugins you own, and your points balance all go with it and stay on the same terms. We will never use a transfer to take away something you already own or to make these terms less favorable to you, and where the law requires us to tell you, we will.
Your side of these Terms is personal to you, so you may not transfer it without our written agreement.
18. Affiliates
Affiliates. Some people may share links to the Site and earn a commission when someone buys through them. If you bought through such a link, it changes nothing about your purchase: the price, the license, the refund policy and the support you get are exactly the same. If you take part as an affiliate, the affiliate program rules published on the Site apply to you in addition to these Terms, including the requirement to disclose that you earn a commission wherever you share a link. We may hold or refuse a commission we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, and we may end an affiliate account at any time. Anything already cleared and honestly earned is still paid. Applications are open today, and commissions begin once an application is approved and the program is switched on.
