WildEcho

Endless echo modulation possibilities. Delay into extraordinary, moving tails.

$50 one-time payment

Signature controls

  • Bloom: deepens the feedback, FX, and wet tail together
  • Source / Echoes: color the input once, or recolor every repeat
  • Modulate: echoes slow down or speed up as they fade, in clean steps or a tape-style bend
  • Soften: takes the sharp front off each echo above its Threshold, with Wobble for drift
  • Reverse: repeats can come back playing backwards
  • FX Order: reorder the FX chain, separately per route
  • Treat Yo Self: four FX in a drawer, and Modulate can keep any of them moving on the echoes

Plate: Poppy Field (Giverny), Claude Monet, around 1890

"Poppy Field (Giverny)" In July 1890, Claude Monet began four almost identically scaled canvases showing poppy fields near his home in Giverny. Although he did not consider these to be a series, like the 25 paintings of stacks of wheat that he began shortly after the harvest that same summer, the works certainly show his growing interest in developing several canvases at once. They also demonstrate a far more homogeneous touch than the freely brushed landscapes of his earlier career, with surfaces that have a tapestry-like materiality.

WildEcho can modulate up/down time, filtering, chorus amount, distortion amount, and reverse amount. Soften transients of the echoes to create a more organic and realistic tail. Wobble the entire thing just in case you needed even more movement. This tool is one of my favorites that we've built.

Three details

WildEcho's Modulate section: Splice and Glide, Threshold, Release, Modulate, Speed and Smooth

Modulate

Modulate makes the echoes slow down or speed up as they fade. Splice gives every repeat its own clean wait; Glide slides the delay time like a tape machine changing speed.

WildEcho's Feedback, then Echoes Transient Softening: Soften, Threshold and Wobble

Soften and wobble

Soften pulls the transient peaks out of what feeds the echoes, for a more organic tail. Its Threshold sets how loud a sound has to be to be softened, and Wobble adds more movement.

WildEcho's Treat Yo Self drawer: Reverse, Chorus, Distortion and Filter

Treat Yo Self

Four sweeteners in the drawer under the face: Reverse, Chorus, Distortion and Filter. Put each on the source or on the echoes, and set the order they run in.
