Refund Policy
Effective: August 20, 2026
We want you to be happy with your plugins. If you buy a plugin or the Full Bundle outright and change your mind, you have 14 days to ask for a full refund, no questions asked. For the rent-to-own subscription, your very first monthly payment is refundable within 14 days; after that we do not refund monthly payments as a matter of course, but you can cancel anytime and your points never expire. If something went wrong or a renewal caught you out, ask us anyway. We appreciate you, and we want to do right by you. All refunds are handled by Paddle, our payment provider. This is the plain-English summary; the sections below give the full detail.
1. Who this applies to
This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Wildflower Sound, an audio company operated by Braden Parkes as an individual, and its successors (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). It covers refunds for our plugins and our rent-to-own subscription.
2. Outright purchases: 14-day money-back guarantee
- If you buy a plugin or the Full Bundle outright, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. No questions asked.
- When we refund an outright purchase, your license to that plugin (or bundle) ends, and you agree to stop using it and remove your copies.
- After 14 days, outright purchases are generally non-refundable, since the plugins are digital and yours to keep. If something is genuinely wrong (for example, a plugin will not install or activate), contact us anyway. We would rather help you get it working, or make it right.
3. Rent-to-own subscription refunds
- Your first monthly payment is refundable within 14 days of that first charge. If you decide the rent-to-own subscription is not for you, ask us within that window for a full refund of that first payment.
- Later monthly payments are not refunded as a matter of course. Each renewal keeps your full-catalog access and adds points to your balance, so that is our starting point rather than a wall. If a renewal caught you at a bad moment, or you meant to cancel and did not get to it, email us and ask. We would rather sort it out than have you leave unhappy. Paddle, as seller of record, may also issue a refund at its own discretion or where the law requires.
- You are never locked in. You can cancel anytime with one click in your account area (cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period), and your points never expire, so nothing you have earned is lost.
4. How refunds affect points and access
- If your first subscription payment is refunded, the points that payment earned are removed, and your full-catalog access ends after the grace period described in the Terms of Service.
- More generally, a refunded or charged-back payment subtracts exactly the points it earned. You earn one point per US dollar a payment charges, so a refunded $10 payment removes 10 points. If your points go negative, you cannot redeem plugins until they are positive again. This does not remove any plugin you have already redeemed and own.
- Refunding a payment does not, by itself, cancel your subscription. If you want to stop future charges, cancel in your account area.
5. How to request a refund
- Email support@wildflowersound.io from your account email, tell us what you bought, and ask for a refund. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
- You can also check your invoices in your account area (provided through Paddle).
6. How refunds are processed (Paddle)
Your purchases are processed by Paddle as our merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Paddle, back to your original payment method. Once a refund is approved, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer, usually a few business days. The original charge may show on your statement as "PADDLE.NET*". Because Paddle is the seller of record, some payment questions and disputes are handled directly by Paddle under Paddle's terms.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please contact us first. We would much rather sort it out quickly, and we usually can, than have you file a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback on a subscription payment subtracts the points that payment earned (as in Section 4) and may suspend your access while it is reviewed, which is a slower and worse outcome for you than simply emailing us. We reserve the right to decline future sales to anyone who charges back a purchase they made and used, though that is a last resort and not something we expect to use.
8. Your legal rights
Nothing in this Policy takes away any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws where you live. If those laws give you stronger rights than this Policy, those rights apply.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy as our business grows. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Policy with a new effective date. A change does not reduce the refund rights that applied to a purchase you already completed.
